In its sustained effort to bring the Tourism Industry in Karnataka together to build fellowship and in support of ‘Blind Cricket’, KTF organised its annual T - 10 Cricket Tournament on Saturday, March 3rd and Sunday, March 4th at RSI ‘A’ Ground, Bangalore. The main sponsor of the event was Aadya. The co –sponsors were The Windflower and the HHI Group of Hotels. Karnataka Tourism, Jungle Lodges and Resorts, KSTDC, Metro Travel Group, Kairali, Spicetrip, Club Mahindra, The Serai and Sandesh The Prince were the other sponsors. The event was inaugurated by Mr GR Vishwanath.
A highlight of this season’s T-10 was the demonstration held on 4th March, of ‘Blind Cricket’ by Samarthanam, an organisation that has been relentlessly working towards empowering the disabled, underprivileged and the visually impaired, in particular.
In its 3rd year now, the event saw enthusiasts from various verticals of tourism compete to be the champion of the KTF AADYA T - 10 in an atmosphere of fun and friendship. BIAL emerged champions for the second time. The prize distribution ceremony held on 4th March evening at The Chancery Pavilion was graced by eminent personalities like Mr Raghuram Bhatt and Mr Praveen Sood .The event ended with entertainment shows, DJ music and gala dinner. |
