KTF’s first roadshow in Gujarat held from 06 August 2012 to 09 August 2012 was a raging success. Understanding the potential of the Gujarat market, the roadshows were held at three cities –Vadodara, Surat and Ahmedabad. 42 trade partners from Karnataka including tour operators, travel agents, tourist transport operators and hoteliers had stalls at the three venues. KTF had taken special efforts to offer a cost-effective all inclusive package rate for the trade partners from Karnataka. This included negotiating rates with airlines and finding sponsors in Gujarat who were willing to offer complimentary meals and refreshments. At all the three venues the programme commenced with networking among the trade partners of Gujarat and Karnataka followed by a presentation on KTF and destinations of Karnataka, by Mr Sanjar Imam, Vice President, KTF. Winners of lucky draw were offered exciting prizes and the event concluded with sumptuous dinner at all the venues. The feedback after the roadshows was quite positive and encouraging with the trade partners of both the states happy and contented regarding the appreciating the efforts of KTF and congratulating KTF on the success of its roadshows.
