A FAM trip was conducted under the aegis of KTF for frontline staff of tour and travel companies from June 22nd to 24th 2012. The purpose of the trip was to provide firsthand experience to the frontline staff (executives and assistant managers), who sell these destinations to clients directly. A group of 29 participants headed by Mr Jagadeesh – Committee Head, FAMs’ visited Hampi, Badami, Pattadakal, Aihole, Anegundi and Chitradurga.The main sponsors at Hampi were Hotel Malligi and Royal Orchid Central Kireeti. The co - sponsors were Vijayshree Resort & Heritage Village, Jungle Lodges and Resorts, Hotel Mayura Bhuvaneshwari, Hotel Krishna Palace, Hotel Hampi International and Hamsa Tours & Travels, Heritage Resort, Badami Hotel Mayura Chalukya, Kishkinda Heritage Resort, Hotel Naveen Residency at Chitradurga and Tumkur and Big Travels. The feedback from FAM trip participants was quite positive and encouraging.
